Facility Overview
Kobe International Conference Center has the Main Hall, with a capacity of 692 people and equipped with six-language simultaneous interpretation equipment and sound and lighting adjustment equipment, and the prestigious International Conference Room, with a capacity of 360 (in a theater-style layout) where UN and inter-governmental conferences have been held. Its Reception Hall has removable partitions to broaden the usage of the adjacent International Conference Room. There is a total of 21 medium to small meeting rooms, including one with a maximum capacity of 200 people. Each floor has a spacious lounge and lobby and can be reserved for exclusive use for exhibitions, poster sessions, etc. As high-speed wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) service is available in every facility, you can hold meetings using LAN and Internet access between rooms. Kobe International Conference Center also has the latest equipment and fixtures （see Equipment and Fixtures page） to improve conference functions, including screens of various sizes, projectors, and a multiple-line microphone system, as well as sound equipment and lighting adjustment equipment necessary for meetings.

Main Hall
From the 1st basement to the 1st floor lies the Main Hall with a capacity of 692 people. It has been used for all kinds of events such as medical conferences both domestic and abroad, ceremonies, concerts, theatrical performances, dances, and fashion shows. The Hall is fully equipped with accessory equipment, including audio, visual, stage, and lighting equipment, and, moreover, six-language simultaneous interpretation equipment and a VIP room. You can use the five anterooms and a rehearsal room without additional charge.

The International Conference Room with its wood pattern interior design offers a prestigious space suitable for international and inter-governmental conferences and ceremonies. When in a horseshoe layout, the room can accommodate 116 people, and in a theater-style layout (no writing table), 360 people. The 4th floor is equipped with 48 seats with writing tables for observers, six-language simultaneous interpretation equipment, projection room, and others for high-quality functions to meet convention needs. The International Conference Room is available for various conferences, lecture meetings, corporate training sessions, and many other purposes.

The Reception Hall located adjacent to the International Conference Room can be opened and closed with movable partitions for integrated use with the conference room for a wider variety of usage such as conference poster sessions and exhibitions and as a gallery. The pantry is available (for a charge) for various parties, dinners, and coffee breaks.

Seven small to medium-sized meeting rooms are located on the 4th floor, each of which can accommodate 30 to 200 people when in a theater-style layout. Room 401 and 402 can be used jointly as a (theater-style) meeting room with a capacity of 214 people. There is also a spacious lounge and lobby. When the floor is reserved for your exclusive use, you can use the entire floor in a variety of ways to suit your purposes, including exhibitions, poster sessions, coffee breaks, and after-seminar parties.

Five small to medium-sized meeting rooms are located on the 5th floor, each of which can accommodate 80 to 200 people when in a theater-style layout. Room 504 and 505 can be used jointly as a maximum 185m² meeting room. There is also a spacious lounge and lobby. When the floor is reserved for your exclusive use, you can use the entire floor in a variety of ways to suit your purposes, including exhibitions, poster sessions, coffee breaks, and after-seminar parties.
*The room capacity according to layout may vary depending on the equipment and fixtures used.
*The number of posters of a poster session is the maximum number that can be displayed when both sides are used.
* A designated contractor of Kobe International Conference Center will change the layout of the International Conference Room (301) (for a fee).
*The equipment and fixtures that can be used in respective rooms are available on loan for a charge.
